About the event
Its a collaboration with Linda Sawrey and myself, and will be focused on:
The 5 Senses and how to rebuild our awareness and experience with them, in order to develop our abilities as a rider.
You think the 5 senses are pretty straightforward, for both you and your horse, but the truth is, in our modern society, our senses have been 'dulled out' by the fast pace world we live in.
Sensory experiences help to ground us and regulate our nervous system. For our horses sensory input regulates them, engages them with their environment, and stimulates them mentally and physically.
To put it in lay terms - this clinic will help both horse and human retrieve their sensory awareness, tap into our bodies and ground us. We will use this sensory input to enhance our ability as a rider.
